Tolosa and Gipuzkoa bring together history, landscape and culture in a setting full of character. From markets and great food to mountains, coastline and towns with a strong identity, every corner here invites you to explore at an unhurried pace.

A setting where gastronomy, landscape and culture come through in small plans, crafts, markets and places with real character.

Herriez eta ibilbideez gain, ingurua pintxoetan, sagardotegietan, azoketan, merkatuetan eta plazetan deskubritzen da; baita museoetan, arkitekturan, historia duten dendetan eta produktuari, tradizioari eta tokiko erritmoari oso lotuta dagoen bizi-modu batean ere. Mendiaren eta kostaren artean, inguruak proposamen oso ezberdinak eskaintzen ditu —natura, kultura, gastronomia eta ondarea— eta egonaldi berean erraz uztar daitezke.

Here, the day can be simple: the market, a walk, a short hike, or a drive out. Everything is close, and the landscape goes with you.

Coast, city and mountains just minutes away

Donostia / San Sebastián

27 km – 26 min

La Concha is San Sebastián’s most iconic image and one of its greatest gems: an urban beach, a beautiful seafront promenade, and a pleasant atmosphere all year round. It’s an easy plan if you want to mix a walk, pintxos, and some city time without a long drive.

ZARAUTZ

36 km – 28 min

Restaurants, beach, a very pleasant seafront promenade, and a lively atmosphere. You can also combine it with a stroll around the town centre and, if you feel like it, a surf session or a terrace stop. Zarautz beach stands out especially for its length (around 2.5 km), so it’s great for walking.

San Juan de Gaztelugatxe

126 km – 110 min

It’s a highly iconic spot on the Biscayan coast, with its bridge, staircase and chapel set in a stunning landscape. Note: it’s worth checking access/arrangements before you go, as it’s a very popular area.

ARALAR

14 km – 20 min

It’s the most powerful and closest nature plan from Tolosa: meadows, forest, mountains and very Basque views, with Txindoki as the main visual landmark. Aralar also has several “gateways” (Abaltzisketa/Larraitz and Ataun/Lizarrusti), so you can tailor the plan to an easy walk or a more serious route.
